aytowne on Ice hosted its 3rd 
annual Ice Skating Extravaganza 
with two performances by Emma 
Phibbs and Evan Roberts. Each 

year, professional skaters put on a free show 
for the community and also give attendees 
a chance to meet and skate in-between the 
performances providing an evening for 
pictures, tips, and skating around the rink! 

Emma Phibbs, a Team USA member and 

five-time US National competitor, three-
year US International team member, and 
Regional Pairs champion has been working 
closely with Evan for a couple years now. 
Evan was the Junior National Champion 
for Great Britain and also competed for the 

US internationally and toured the world 
with Holiday on Ice and Disney on Ice. The 
two said they would like to keep ice skating 
a big part of their lives, staying busy with 
traveling and performing together. These 
shows are another way to allow their passions 
to stay alive for the sport. Adults and kids 
alike were in awe of the beautiful show and 
many stayed for both the 6:00 and 7:30 
performances. 

The Village of Baytowne Wharf offers 

ice skating until February 2, and with the 
holiday lights, music, and actives throughout 
Baytowne Wharf, it’s the perfect setting for 
families, dates, or get-togethers with friends.
