n December 12, Bontemps Interiors celebrated its grand opening and a ribbon cutting with the Destin and Walton Area Chambers 
of Commerce. Chamber Ambassadors, friends and relatives, and the community all came out to support and celebrate with owner, 
Angela Bontemps during the long awaited ceremony of Bontemps. Angela was very thankful to her parents for their continued love and 
support over the years as she commented, “I am excited and confi dent that having 

two of the best interior designers, Amanda Slay and Maggie Poetz, on my team will defi nitely 
make my 22 year old dream of having my own interior design store become a great achievement 
and a blast.” Megan Harrison and Bill Head of Walton Area and Destin Chambers welcomed 
Angela and her business to the area and assured her the Chambers of Commerce is here to 
support her and help her business grow. Guests enjoyed complimentary cocktails and light bites 
provided by Restaurant Paradis, with some great music provided by DJ 30A and a photo booth 
provided by Epic Photo Co. 

 Angela Bontemps, who is now a local, has always had a passion for interior design since 

her fi rst job working in a high-end furniture store in Peoria, Illinois. She has created a full-
service interior design fi rm specializing in coastal design with a global infl uence. Bontemps 
Interiors takes pride in designing homes with their clients in mind. All decor and furniture is 
carefully selected so that every home is designed to enhance the personalities, passions, diverse 
experiences, and lifestyles of their clients.
