T

he Best in Destin Awards had thousands of voters logging on to pick 

the best of the best. Readers considered all of their favorite local 

food and drinks for the Cocktails & Cuisine category and all of the 

wonderful stores our area has to offer for the Shopping category. Voters 

also chose their top choices for Professional Services, Health & Wellness, 

Entertainment & Recreation, and Wedding & Bridal during the voting 

process. With many sub-categories to choose from, there were places to 

vote for all of your favorite local businesses. The voters have spoken and 

the winners have been chosen! The date is set, the voting is complete, the 

winners are excited… the stars are aligned for the Best In Destin 2018 Black 

Tie Ball! Dust off your tuxedos and ball gowns and strap on your dancing 

shoes for a night of entertainment and celebration at the 5th annual VIP 

Destin Magazine Black Tie Ball. The fabulous event will be held on March 10, 

2018, in the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa Coastal Ball Room. 

The Black Tie Ball is truly a red carpet event from start to finish. The men 

will be looking handsome and the women will be stunning as the who’s 

who of Destin arrive at the ball.

Over the past four years this event has grown and 2018 will be bigger 

and better than ever with new and exciting ways to celebrate the business 

owners and representatives who have worked so hard to be called the Best 

in Destin.
