T
he theme this year for Sinfonia Gulf Coast’s 5th
Annual Wine, Women and Shoes series of events is
the Mad Hatter Tea Party. Bijoux Restaurant and
Spirits at The Market Shops hosted the Sole Sisters
Kick-Off Luncheon & Fashion Preview with a full house of
women attending donned in fashionable hats and shoes to
enjoy a social gathering. Sinfonia Gulf Coast’s Wine, Women
and Shoes puts on a series of events to include the luncheon,
followed by vintner dinners at area homes on February 17,
Bubbles, Brews & Culinary Qs on February 18 and concludes
with their signature event, the Mad Hatter’s Garden Party, on
February 19.
Along with amazing door prizes, the Sole Sisters luncheon
presented an array of fashions courtesy of Wren’s Village
Boutique, The Dressing Room, and Sirens at the Beach.
Ladies jewelry and accessories were on display from Destin
Jewelers. The culinary experience was prepared by Bijoux’s
executive chef Jack McGuckin, paired with Pip wines from
McNeese Distributing Company.
Under the direction of Music & Artistic Director, Demetrius
Fuller, Sinfonia presents the highest caliber concerts and
events in Northwest Florida. As well, they provide much
needed music educational initiatives to youth in area schools.
The proceeds from Wine, Women and Shoes benefit both
Sinfonia and its education programs throughout Okaloosa and
Walton Counties.
Co-chairs for the 2017 Wine, Women & Shoes series of
events are Demetria McNeese and Velia Lala. Presenting
sponsors are Krueger, Fosdyck & Associates of Merrill
