n a warm, 

sunny and 

breezy day at 

Seascape Golf, 

Beach & Tennis Resort along the beautiful 

Gulf of Mexico, the 3rd Annual Eggs on 

the Beach cooking competition took place 

with attendees sampling an array of creative 

dishes freshly cooked on Big Green Egg 

grills. Proceeds from the event benefited 

Food For Thought and Fisher House of the 

Emerald Coast.

This year Eggs on the Beach added 

exciting enhancements including more 

teams, celebrity judges, a kids zone 

and sports zone. Al Alvardo provided 

entertainment with his notable vocals and 

guitar. A panel of accomplished celebrity 

judges included Lucy Buffett, Chef Tim 

Creehan, Susan Benton and Pat Embree. 

Earning ultimate 

bragging rights were the 

Judges Choice Winners. 

Taking the #1 spot was 

Son of A Saint, #2 was Beauchamps 

Commercial, with Sam I Am coming it at 

#3 and they also awarded an Honorable 

Judges Award to Food For Thought. The 

people’s picks for Taster’s Choice winners 

were InDyne taking 1st place, SETCO in 

2nd place and Tater’s Tots in 3rd place. 

The non-profit 1st place winner 

was Snoori’s Tandoori who earned a 

$2,000 donation for their cause, the Air 

Commando Association. Team Brock 

received 2nd place and a $1,000 donation 

for their cause, Fisher House of the 

Emerald Coast. Team Rotary Club of 

Destin took 3rd place, which earned a $500 

donation to support Rotary Club causes.
