T

oday’s Boutique, an award-winning
fashion boutique in Destin, recently
celebrated their 35

th

 anniversary with

community guests joining in a festive

pink themed evening at the store. Owners and
founders, Jim and Kim Dettle, were honored
with an official proclamation for Today’s from
the Destin Chamber of Commerce.

Today’s Boutique opened its doors in 1981

and was an early pioneer for Destin’s unique
fashion scene. It quickly evolved into an
upscale, premier boutique for women with an
eclectic mix of fashions. Today’s Boutique also
showcases many jewelry designers, both local
and nationally branded, with exciting trunk
shows.

The Dettles have dedicated their careers

to pleasing their ever-expanding and
diverse clientele. With a degree in Fashion
Merchandising, their daughter, Kristin, is
Today’s store manager and an integral part of
the team. Today’s Boutique has been voted
“Best In Destin” by the readers of VIP Destin
magazine.

Today’s Boutique has also partnered with The

Suzy Fund, a local non-profit, to raise money
for breast cancer diagnostics and treatment.
The Suzy Fund helps provide free screening,
diagnostic mammograms and treatment
assistance to under-served women in Okaloosa
and Walton counties. The Suzy Fund was
established in October 2007 in association
with local businesses and the Sacred Heart
Foundation.
