he VIP Destin Magazine team hosted clients and 
guests at the November 2018 Cover Reveal Party. 
The high-energy and fun-filled evening took place on 
November 5 at Destin’s iconic Marina Cafe and was 

well attended.

The November cover paid tribute to our first responders 

with a nod to the Florida Strong initiative after the devastating 
results of Hurricane Michael in October. Guests enjoyed 
delicious featured items from Marina Cafe’s Happy Hour menu 
including sushi, spring rolls, pizza, and more, while enjoying 

the panoramic view of the harbor. Lucky attendees won over 
$3,000 in fabulous door prizes that were donated by many local 
businesses.

“Having VIP Destin Magazine here at Marina Cafe was an 

honor and a blast! The juxtaposition of our local law enforcement 
on the cover and our founder and owner, Jim Altamura, featured 
as “I Am Destin” emphasized their commitment to supporting 
the community. Overall, the launch was huge success and we 
look forward to hosting their events in the future,” commented 
T. J. Altamura – Restaurant Manager.
