he Henderson Resort kicked off the summer with an exciting 
Summer Signature Event Series on June 28.  The Summer 
Series started with Lynn Nesmith, the author of 30A Living, 
a 224-page, full-color coffee table book showcasing gracious 

homes and unique communities of Scenic Highway 30A along Florida’s 
Gulf Coast.  Nesmith also authored 30A Style, another coffee table book 
showcasing 22 Florida cottages and family homes along the Gulf of 
Mexico in Northwest Florida.  Both of the books highlight the historic 
communities and New Urbanist towns. 

Patrons who spent the evening with Lynn had the opportunity to hear 

all about her inspiration behind her books, and had their purchased books 
autographed. Guests also enjoyed samples of The Henderson’s chef-made 
tapas and cocktails provided by Timber Creek Distillery while taking in 
the sunset views.
