Governor Scott Announces NWF 
State College Board of Trustees 
Appointments 

 

Governor Rick Scott recently announced 

Charlotte Flynt, Lori Kelley and Reynolds 
Henderson to the NWF State College Board 
of Trustees. 

“We are honored to have Ms. Flynt and 

Ms. Kelley continue as members of our Board 
of Trustees at NWF State College,” says 
Dr. Devin Stephenson, President. “We are 
excited to welcome Mr. Henderson and look 
forward to the expertise he will bring to the 
board. Each of our Trustees brings a passion 
for the college, deep community knowledge 
and commitment to the mission and vision of 
NWF State College.” 

Charlotte Flynt of Miramar Beach, is a 

retired general contractor and owner of Two 
Oaks Construction, Inc.

Lori Kelley of Fort Walton Beach, is a 

certifi ed public accountant with Warren 
Averett, LLC. She received her bachelor’s 
degree from the University of West Florida. 

Reynolds Henderson of Santa Rosa Beach, 

is the owner of Continental Pacifi c, LLC. 
He received his bachelor’s degree from the 
University of Alabama. 

These appointments are subject to 

confi rmation by the Florida Senate.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald 
Coast will be Extending 
Programming Hours Starting
2018 -2019 School Year

 
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald 

Coast, a leader in youth development, is 

excited to share that they will be extending 
program service hours to create a bigger 
impact on members.  The organization, 
which is celebrating 50 years of service this 
year, continues to inspire kids to build great 
futures.  

“I am personally excited about these 

changes.  We are leaders in youth 
development, this is what leaders do.  They 
do more than what is expected, in turn 
deepening the impact our Clubs have on our 
communities,” says Shervin Rassa, Chief 
Executive Offi cer.  “These changes will allow 
Clubs to create a deeper bond with their 
members, family and community.” 

Starting the 2018-2019 school year, all 

Okaloosa, Escambia and Walton County 
Clubs will extend after-school hours until 
7:00PM daily.  Fort Walton Beach and 
Pensacola Teen Clubs will have additional 
extended hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays 
until 8:00PM.  Teen Clubs will also provide 
current members with Day Passes so they 
can share with their friends and invite them 
to see what is happening in the Club and get 
involved.    

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald 

Coast continues to evolve their services 
and programming to meet the needs of 
the communities they are a part of.  After-
school program registration will begin in 
mid-July.  Contact your local Club for more 
information.
