W

hat better way to raise some money than with bowling and pancakes?
On February 22, the Destin Chamber of Commerce teamed up with the
Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance to raise money for improving our local
waterways. With all lanes filled, corporate lane sponsorship teams of

various local businesses put some healthy competition to play and bowled to be the best.

While bowling, visitors and players were able to enjoy a full breakfast buffet, complete

with pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage and more. In the same space as the buffet, there was
a full array of silent auction prizes ready to be won. Some consisted of two or three night
“stay-cations”, gift baskets, golfing vouchers and so much more. Overall, the event was a
great way to start a Friday morning and kick-off the weekend.
