he 41st Annual Pensacola Seafood Festival was held on the warm 
weekend of September 28-30 in Downtown Pensacola.  Between 
11 a.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Sunday, Seville Square, Fountain Park, 
and Bartram Park were filled with crowds waiting for their taste of 

some of the best Gulf Coast seafood around.  Various musical acts, live cooking 
demonstrations, and children’s activities including SeaMobile touch pools, hermit 
crab races, an obstacle course, arts and crafts, and games, were presented by Fiesta 
Pensacola.  The Pensacola Seafood Festival is one of the largest arts and crafts fairs 
in Northwest Florida with more than 150 artisans and craftsmen and fresh local 
seafood from the Gulf of Mexico, served tapas-style by over 18 food vendors.  Some 
non-seafood related items available included burgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, chicken 
tenders, bloomin’ onions, french fries, nachos, funnel cakes, kettle corn, turkey legs, 
ice cream, gelato, apple dumplings, Sno-Cones, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and root 
beer floats.

Featured local catches included local snapper, seafood gumbo, oyster croquettes, 

soft shell crab, coconut shrimp, Caribbean crab cakes, bang-bang shrimp, and 
more. The Pensacola Seafood Festival also featured cooking demonstrations, a 5K 
run/walk, a cost-friendly children’s area, and other activities located in Bartram 
Park. The entertainment schedule included Kenton Bryant, Adam Doleac, William 
Michael Morgan, Chris Winward Band, Paperchase, The Molly Ringwalds, Ben 
Loftin and The Family, and Pierce Penniless.
