ocal celebrities rallied together to serve two seatings of guests 
at the 6th Annual Celebrity Server Luncheon at Bonefish Grill 
to support arts education and raised $13,641. These funds will 
benefit Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s All Kinds of Art initiative, 

Arts For All Abilities, an educational outreach program serving students and 
children with special needs in Okaloosa and Walton counties.  

Hosted by Phil Lorusso of Bonefish Grill in Destin, celebrity servers 

dressed in full costume as their favorite childhood characters to compete for 
the best-dressed celebrity, as well as most earned tips and ticket sales for the 
cause. Leah McGill (Okaloosa School District) was crowned Top Celebrity 
Server, raising the most money with her husband, Bob (McGill Escrow & 
Title), dressed as Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head. Jennifer Lovell (Coastal Bank 
and Trust) was voted by her peers for Best Costume as the The Addams 
Family’s Morticia. Other local celebrities included VIP Destin Magazine’s 
editor, Steve Barber as Willy Wonka; Allen French (Trees Destin), Heather 
Ruiz (Destin Commons), Joe Capers (Insurance Zone), Whitney Lee (Lee 
IMC), Brittany Matthews (Beach Beach Real Estate), Dion Moniz (Harrison, 
Sale, McCloy, Attys.), Lisa Snuggs (The Snuggs Real Estate Group)  and 
Rebecca Job (Dale E. Peterson Vacations).

MKAF Education Director, Melanie Moore, stated, “Funding allows All 

Kinds of Art to facilitate meaningful cultural experiences for children and 
adults. AKA is dedicated to delivering targeted art experiences directly to 
diverse audiences, including offering art programs for adults with special 
needs and working locally with the Special Operations Wounded Warriors. 
We are grateful for the support of all the celebrity servers and attendees.
