This years Destin Forward class is hosting this event to raise money for some much needed repairs and replacements at the Destin Community Garden. All proceeds will go to these efforts, and purchasing supplies to accomplish this goal.

Class members will volunteer their time, and have offered or collected Items for silent auctions to aid in raising additonal funds, and the Mayor of Destin is our classmate, and has agreed to get pies in the face for 5$ or a donation greater than that of the throwers choice.

After compeltetion of the project, the class will leave the Gardens care and maintenance in the capable hands of the Boys and Girls Clubs gardening club, in order to help teach them some of the necessary skills to grow and maintain their own food.
